outside these hours only our driver can check you in, when you arrive from the airport when you are checked in at hostel we give you 2 keys, one key for your room and the other for the main door so you can come and go any time you wish.
Rooms with private bath have air-conditioning. Private bath means private shower and Western style toilet in your room
Arabic breakfast, all you can eat buffet, served between 8:00 – 12:00 included in room rate.
MEET & GREET AT AIRPORT IN ARRIVAL HALL
Transport from airport to hostel and back to airport 40 Euros including one hour waiting from the time scheduled to arrive a charge of 5 Euros per each additional waiting hour for issuing visa or delayed arrival.
One way from airport to hostel 25 euros. Our driver meets you in arrival hall, just after customs. He has a sign showing your name, please look for him. You arrive at hostel within half hour. You do not pay the driver you pay at hostel. If you have been in Syria before you CAN NO LONGER go outside terminal and bargain with the local yellow taxi as you did in the old days.
There is only one airport taxi service company called Julia Dumna with Budget Rent a car that have exclusive right for the service. Price is fixed from airport to city 1500 sp plus driver’s tip for a car 3 persons only, that is over 25 euros.
There is nothing like having someone you know waiting for you at airport when you arrive in foreign country. He really takes good care of you and your baggage. You arrive at hostel in better shape within half hour.
VISA FOR SYRIA
EU citizens usually get visa when they arrive at airport or land borders. USA citizens also get their visa but have to wait for visa to be issued for a few hours. Please advise if you carry USA passport and you need a visa at airport so that we can allow for it.
If you booked airport transfer please ensure to contact us 7 days before arrival for reconfirmation of airport pickup, either send SMS to +963 933 871 588 or by email. If your flight is delayed, kindly send SMS to inform us.
Our driver meets you in the arrival hall. He carries a sign showing your name. You arrive at Hostel within half an hour.

ATM AND MONEY IN SYRIA

Syrian pound is known by the locals Lira as the old Italian
Do not bring traveler’s cheques, they are very hard to cash.
ATM machines are available in all big cities, make sure to inform your bank that you are going to Syria. Best ATM are those belongs to bank AUDI and bank BEMO and also most reliable.
Bring cash, dollars, euros or GBP to make small purchases and for food stalls and just in case ATMs aren’t working. PLEASE DO NOT BRING 500 Euros notes because it is very difficult to cash such a large amount.

This phrase is used in reference to a future, since all things are at Allah’s will. So if you say, see you tomorrow, you might be replied with Inshallah. Indeed, it is used in numerous contexts. You’ll send me the report tomorrow? -Inshallah.
